Which one do you feel is better, and why? I've only been to Peurta Vallarta.

I prefer Puerto Vallarta because I really liked walking around the town with so many things to do within walking distance.

We also stayed at the Barcelo Resort in the Mayan Riviera area and it was the most beautiful property I've ever stayed at, but if you want to get off the property, you probably need a ride.

As far as the oceans go, do you prefer the Pacific in Peurta Vallarta or the Gulf in the Mayan Riviera? I've thought about going to the Mayan Riviera area or possibly Cancun. It seems like the Mayan Riviera is more laid back and relaxing and secluded.
