When we traveled to Mexico, we decided to stay in an all inclusive hotel. This was the best option for us as everything was included in the price. This way we know that our airfare, hotel, food, drinks, tips and entertainment are all included in one price.
We actually stayed right at our resort. During the day we sat on the beach while the waiter brought us cocktails all day long. We shopped from the locals who were vending right on the beach. In the evenings, we headed to the hotel entertainment.

I love all-inclusive resorts. Whenever I travel in the Caribbean or Mexico, I look at the all-inclusive resorts first. It's such a relief knowing how much you are spending on your vacation as opposed to constantly wondering if you have enough money to eat here or do that activity.
