Has anybody here been to Oktoberfest in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario?
It's a huge Bavarian festival based on the celebrations in Germany, and if you're planning on attending, your hotel reservations should be made well in advance.
It's definitely derived from the German tradition, but from what I hear the two are not identical.
More people are expected to attend festival in Kitchener near Waterloo, Ontario. Tourists from Germany and other European countries will attend this festival. Because of the crowd accommodation would be tight. The festival has its own style and identity and do not exactly match with the festival held in Germany. One can observe North American style of celebrating the festival.
