Has anyone here eaten at a Mandarin Restaurant?

They have huge buffets at decent prices and they have events where they'll be celebrating the crab season and special things like that.

The prices are reasonable and you can definitely get your money's worth there.

Mmm, crab season... That would be the time for me to go, I love crab legs.

Is Mandarine cuisine different from general Chinese? If so, how? I have been to Chinese restaurants, and I think several of them offered dishes they described as Mandarine, but I did not notice any big difference.

I never heard of Mandarin Restaurants before, but I am more interested to know about it. Is it so closer to Chinese cuisine? any similarities exist between the two cuisines, any further info is much appreciated.

I think the Mandarin chain of restaurants offers food that isn't necessarily close to that of traditional Chinese cuisine.

I'd say the Mandarin has dishes similar to most North American Chinese restaurants that have tailored their menus to the tastes of people not brought up with the authentic Chinese dishes.
