Default Hot House Restaurant

If you're going to Toronto, I'd strongly recommend the Hot House restaurant. It's right downtown on Front St and it has a varied menu and good wine list.

One of my favourite dishes there is the ribs with a side of sweet potato fries.

It's also just a few blocks from the entertainment district.

Has anyone here tried this place?

I was just going to ask whether they serve ribs! I see from your post that they do - good!! I am a fan of those. Are they pork or beef ribs? I like either one, but my husband insists that pork ribs "have no meat on them."

I've had the pork ribs, and I believe they're always on the menu. I'm not sure if beef ribs are on the menu, or if they're a popular specialty, but I'd say that your husband could probably find something to satisfy his appetite there.

It has good possibilities for people watching too, if you take a table by the window.

People watching is fun, I like it!

We have found that restaurants that serve beef ribs are rare. I don't mind pork ribs at all though, they are always soft and juicy.

They have quite a pasta section on their menu as well.

I think they probably get some diners before and after going to see movies, and there are probably a variety of live theaters within walking distance of the area too.

What is the main menu in Hot House restaurant? I think there are many items served, both veg and non-veg. What about wines? Whether Red wine is available or not. Wine sipped with side dishes would be great. Chicken soup and mutton soup, boneless chicken sandwiches would be better combination with wines, Is it not.

They offer white and red wine, and I'd say most of their menu is pasta. I ate their last month and it was very good as usual. We also noticed that we recognized some of the same staff from a year ago, so I'd venture to say that the service has remained consistent.
