Default Best place to have turkey?

Well, Thanksgiving is coming, and I don't know whether I will be able to make a homemade turkey or not this year... I do want turkey though!! What are some places that serve it?

I only know one, and it's a maybe. Sometimes Old Country Buffet has turkey for Thanksgiving, but you never know whether they will or not.

I think I'd be tempted to try the family-run restaurants for a roast turkey dinner, but I guess you'd have to ask around if you weren't familiar with the area.

Maybe the staff of a local hotel could help give a recommendation.

Yes, I suppose I'll need to do some research, online as well as in person. No one seems to know of a turkey-serving place off the top of their head. Besides, many restaurants are closed on Thanksgiving, this is something to keep in mind as well.

Here in Canada, we don't do Thanksgiving quite to the extent that people seem to do in the US, but I know of people here who have their big Christmas dinners in restaurants, so there must be places that are geared to it. I guess it would be the kind of thing that could be built up as a business over the years.

Well, we went to Old Country Buffet, and they did have it - both breasts and pulled dark meat, which I love. They had all kinds of other yummy things, too, and even gave a senior discount to my mom without being asked. OCB is a great place to go!!
