I've not yet tasted it yet myself, but I was told a popular food in Burkina Faso is called "fufu" or "foofoo", which is a mixed of yam, cassava, sweet potatoes, maize, turnip, tomatoes, and onion. Sounds yummy, right?
Fufu is a staple food of West and Central Africa. It is a thick paste of potatoes normally prepared by boiling starchy origin vegetables in water and thumping with a mortar and pounder until the hoped consistency is reached.
