Default water and liquors

Its not safe to drink tap water in morocco ..so bottled water is still advisable here..when it pertains to alcoholic beverages they do have some of it although its a muslim country its available in restaurants, liquor stores and etc..the local brew of choice carries the original name called Casablanca Beer..

Do restaurants and hotels purify the water they serve in Morocco?

In some areas like Mexico that seems to be the case in the upper scale properties, but I'd be a little wary of drinking the water at some of the more casual open air street establishments.

In my case when I go to a particular place..I really drink only bottled water to be safe and of course it must be one of the well known brands..
