Default Chapati maji

Chapati maji is one of the famous deserts in Tanzania.. its in the form of a cakes or a cookies ..the mixture can be made into a pancake, sprinkled with sugar or honey..

that is practically new to me..but it seems delicious ..i like anything that is sweet and something coz i have a sweet tooth..and i like to try it..and maybe possible cooking it when i got home..

Actually Chapati maji is basically if you take a tortilla and put a thin amount of honey on it. Since chapati is basically a scooping bread eaten with about anything, this version is similar to when a person in the west puts honey on a piece of bread. It's better if they use butter on it but that's not always the case.

Halua (Halwa) is sweeter and more dessert like. The Halua I tried had carrot, condensed milk, rice, almond, raisins, and spices in it but I wasn't sure what else. They typically serve it with a spicy tea or coffee. Since Halwa is also a popular Indian dish, I am thinking a lot of the recipes are similar.
